Earlier this month we ran an initiative during Homelessness Week 2024 to raise funds for our community doing it tough and we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact your support had on our community.
Held from August 5 to 11, Homelessness Week aims to raise awareness and drive action towards ending homelessness. This year, your participation in our hot drink initiative helped make a difference.
During Homelessness Week, every hot drink purchased at Cardinia Life contributed 50 cents to the Cardinia Foundation. Thanks to your enthusiasm, we’re thrilled to share that $243.00 was donated, reflecting a total of 485 hot drinks sold. Your small daily choice turned into a powerful gesture of support for those in need.
The Cardinia Foundation is committed to building a strong, healthy, and diverse community. Their work focuses on creating sustainable solutions that empower individuals and foster a supportive environment. With the funds raised, the Foundation is better equipped to continue their vital programs, from providing resources to families in need to supporting local initiatives that enhance community well-being.
