Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre

Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre (PRTC) opened in 2009. The facility offers 14 plexi-cushion & 4 synthetic grass tennis courts, all of which are lit, a multi-purpose function room, kiosk, bar and change rooms. PRTC is wheelchair friendly and has accessible bathrooms.

In 2021, PRTC became the home to Pakenham Tennis Club, who compliments PRTC’s aim to increase local participation in tennis and to attract elite players from outside the municipality to train and compete in Cardinia Shire.

PRTC hosts a wide range of activities to suit players of all needs including but not limited to; Tennis Hot Shots program, coaching, court hire, competitions, school programs, and Australian ranking tournaments.

Programs we offer

Hot Shots Program

Start your tennis journey with Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots coaching and Hot Shots coaching match play. Suitable for children aged 3-12 years.

Youth

Youth can continue to learn and play with options including coaching, #Girlsquad, and competitions.

Adult

Adult coaching options are available for beginners and intermediates, as is social single and doubles competition.

Holiday programs

PRTC offers school holiday programs that are packed with fun activities designed to get children physically active, learning new skills, and discover new interests with friends.

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a tennis workout program catering to all fitness levels. Run by our Tennis Australia qualified coaches, your session will bring together a variety of cardio workouts and tennis drills, all to a high-energy soundtrack.

Social competitions

PRTC offers social competitions for those who seeking some friendly competitive tennis. Fast 4 competitions and a social teams doubles competition are available!

October 2021 saw Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre become the home of the Pakenham Tennis Club. We work collaboratively with Pakenham Tennis Club to offer a holistic and united approach to service and delivery within the centre is essential.

Cardinia Life

Cardinia Life is a state-of-the-art facility that includes a gym, group fitness classes, aquatics, crèche facilities and 8 multipurpose sports courts.

Emerald Lake Pool

The Emerald Lake Wading Pool is located in the heart of Emerald Lake Park. The pool is about 25 metres long with a varying depth of between 0.5m and 1m and is a perfect place to cool off on a hot summer’s day.

Koo Wee Rup Pool

The Koo Wee Rup Outdoor Pool is the perfect place to spend a summer day with family. The facility features a 33m outdoor pool, program pool and a toddler’s pool. There’s also a kiosk, BBQ area, and shaded area for families.

Officer Community Hub

Officer Community Hub is a small community leisure facility that offers 3 multi-sport courts, a conference room and two multi-purpose rooms.

Pakenham Outdoor Pool

The Pakenham Outdoor Pool is the perfect place to spend a summer day with family. The facility has an outdoor heated 50m pool, along with a toddler’s pool with beach entry. The pool surrounds include a kiosk and shaded seating areas for families, and there is a BBQ nearby.
