Cardinia Leisure is partnering with Proud 2 Play in undertaking the Rainbow Roadmap to ensure our facilities, services and programs are safe, affirming and welcoming for all, including those from our LGBTIQ+ community.
Proud 2 Play’s purpose is to ‘Reduce social isolation, stigma, and discrimination of LGBTQI+ folks through the power of sport and recreation to create safe and affirming spaces for participation.’ Cardinia Leisure is a supporter of Proud 2 Play, in that we consistently back LGBTQI+ inclusion programs in sport and recreation, enhancing the collective outreach and influence.
An important piece of this work is to understand the experiences of our customers in relation to LGBTQIA+ inclusion via a quick survey for our customers. This survey is:
- Open to customers across all Cardinia Leisure facilities
- Completely confidential and no personal data will be shared
- Should take between 3-7 minutes
- Participation in voluntary but appreciated
The responses will be evaluated for common themes and ideas, which will used as a basis for inclusion planning moving forward.
