Swim School Carnival 2025

Cardinia Life’s annual Swim School Carnival on Sunday March 30 was a huge success with over 150 students registered to join in the fun!

Pool deck was abuzz, with smiling faces all around, from students, to family, to swim teachers – everyone was excited to participate in friendly and fun competitions.

It was fantastic to watch the students experience race events in a fun and relaxed environment, some who were competing for the first time! Some of the students even got to race their teachers!

Our younger students had the most fun with the “Lucky Duck Scramble” seeing 50 rubber ducks thrown into the pool for our students to collect. PLUS the addition of the tube race being a favourite across the day.

Many students took to the podium to receive their 1st, 2nd or 3rd ribbons, or to just get a great photo, capturing the energy of the day!

Head of Swim School Paula Smith believes this event is a great way for students, teachers and families to connect.

‘The annual swim school carnival has become a favourite day of our swim teaching team, and much loved by the families that attend. We are already looking forward to the 2026 carnival.’
