Thank you for an incredible 2024/2025 Summer Season!
As we say goodbye to the 2024/2025 summer season, we want to take a moment to thank each one and every customer for an unforgettable summer across Cardinia’s outdoor pools. Having experienced the second hottest Summer on record, Cardinia’s pools saw over 26,000 visits!!
Season Highlights:
- Pool Pod: This summer was the first with the new addition of the Pool Pod and hoist at Koo Wee Rup pool. This enabled patrons with mobility concerns to enjoy the water for exercise, to escape the heat and to spend time with their loved ones.
- Pool Parties: From sizzling sausages to exciting poolside games, our pool parties were the ultimate summer hangout spot. We loved seeing so many of you join in the fun and make unforgettable memories.
- Superhero Day: Our staff brought the fun to life by dressing up as superheroes and leading exciting activities throughout the day. From superhero-themed games to challenges, everyone had a blast embracing their inner hero!
- Vic Swim: We were proud to once again host the Vic Swim program across our pools, where children developed important water safety skills in a fun and supportive environment, at a great price point.
- Aqua Workout Classes: Our Aqua Workout classes at the Koo Wee Rup Pool were a hit, providing the perfect way to stay fit while having fun in the water. It was inspiring to see so many of you staying active and enjoying the benefits of water-based fitness.
- School Swimming Carnivals: We hosted many school swimming carnivals through February, and it was fabulous to see a significant improvement in student swimming capabilities compared with previous seasons.
Although this summer has come to an end, we’re already planning for next year! We will be reviewing your responses to our recent community surveys to support the planning process.
