PRTC Construction Works

RESTRICTED ACCESS NEXT WEEK DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORKS

In the upcoming week, access will be impacted to Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre for a brief period of time due to the construction works taking place on-site. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to welcome Pakenham Tennis Club who migrated from Anderson Street to our tennis centre back in October 2021. These works will be ongoing until December / January and you will notice changes each time you visit. The following changes will be scheduled for the next week.

Book-a-court:

The book-a-court gate at Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre will be relocated that will restrict the ability to enter the facility from the external gate for the whole of next week. These works are scheduled to take place from 21 August 2023 (Monday) to 27 August 2023 (Sunday). During this time, there will be no access to the facility through the Book-a-court gate.

Access to courts:

There will be staff on site during business hours to support daytime bookings, that means bookings will still be available for these times via the online portal https://play.tennis.com.au/pakenhamregionaltenniscentre

Impact on Customers:

Court bookings will be limited to business hours and will be unavailable from 6-9am and from 8-11pm. This will not impact any usual programming or services provided by Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre or Pakenham Tennis Club.

Construction Purpose:

The result will be a purpose-built home for the Pakenham Tennis Club. The construction project will primarily impact the grassed area between the building and Courts 9 & 10 and the small section of the PRTC building towards the grassed area. These areas have been fenced off to ensure the safety of our members and construction workers.

Member Safety:

The members’ safety is of utmost importance. Alternative routes and access points will be clearly marked to guide you through the club during this period. All necessary precautions are in place to ensure that the construction site is secure and that members can navigate around the restricted areas safely. Additionally, the publicly accessible defibrillator has been moved next to the external opening of the kiosk for easy access.

Aligned Leisure understands that the construction works might lead to some temporary disruptions, such as noise and minor inconveniences. We kindly request your patience and cooperation during this time as we strive to complete this valuable project.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the construction works or access during this period, please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff at [email protected] or call us on (03) 5940 8510.
