The White Ribbon breakfast will be held between 8am-10am at Cardinia Life.
All funds raised will go towards supporting White Ribbon’s national primary prevention campaign, which aims to stop violence before it occurs, through education initiatives in schools, workplaces and the broader community.
Aligned Leisure staff would also like to invite the community to join them in the White Ribbon Walk on November 25: http://pakenham.starcommunity.com.au/gazette/2017-11-06/walk-with-the-white-ribbon/
Cardinia Leisure’s leadership team sat down with The Clothesline Project on October 23, who aim to educate, break silence on and draw attention to violence against women. Staff had the opportunity to work with The Clothesline Project facilitators discuss family violence and participate in decorating their own t-shirts using messages that focused on safe kids, strong communities and respectful relationships. These t-shirts will be on display at Cardinia Life in the lead-up to White Ribbon Day.
Aligned Leisure will continue to support White Ribbon and participate in the White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation Program.
