Our Summer season is well underway! All grading is complete and all of our teams are competing for position as we are nearing the Summer break.

Over the Summer months, your Cardinia Life Stadium will be closed from Wednesday December 21st until Tuesday January 10th. During this time, there will be significant maintenance work completed on the flooring, additional to the final stages of replacing all player benches and score tables with brand new, lightweight benches.

All Senior sports will resume in the New Year on Wednesday January 11th, with all Junior sports starting back on Thursday February 2nd. Registrations for the Winter 2017 season will open in late February.

We recently had our first hot day of Summer (albeit short lived!) and the Stadium enacted our current heat policy  with the conditions. We have installed a digital thermometer above court 4 which will guide all decisions about game time changes and/or cancellations. You can follow all announcements of game cancellations and keep up to date on any changes that may occur by liking the Cardinia Life Facebook page.

On Saturday December 3rd, Cardinia Life and the residents of the Cardinia Shire are in for a treat. Your home town team, Pakenham Warriors, will play a fundraising game against the Australian Goannas; Australia’s Deaf Men’s  Basketball team.

Entry is only $5.00 for Adults, $2.00 for Children up to 14, and free for Under 5’s.

Every single cent raised on the day will go to helping the Goannas get to the World Championships in Turkey in early 2017. Come on down and see some fantastic Basketball

The Pakenham Warriors will be holding Superclinics in the Summer Holidays. They will run on Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th of January. Keep an eye on their website for more details throughout December.
