At Cardinia Life we offer a range of introductory development programs for children from 1.5 – 10 Years Old. These programs can be great for your child in developing their motor skills, but also assist in developing social skills while learning and playing sport in a fun and enjoyable environment.

Aussie Hoops, Basketball Australia’s official introductory program for 5-10 year olds and their families.
Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops is a 45 minute session and is all about participation and fun.

NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children from 5 to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to develop a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

Tiger Cub Sports aims to educate children between the ages of 3-5 by putting the ‘FUN’ in fundamentals of movement, where key skills will be taught to support sport, dance, gymnastics and other physical recreation activities that we all know and love!
Did you know that active play is the best form of physical activity for children under the age of five years? Active play includes any type of activity that requires the use of large muscle groups!
Our program is built on the tried and tested physical literacy frameworks which supports the natural development of fundamental movement skills including ‘Object Control’ and ‘Loco-Motor Skills’.
With a small focus on AFL football and health and wellbeing education in each session, our clinic coaches will take participants on a journey that will cover multiple sports and the fundamental skills such as catch, kick, run, vertical jump, overhand throw, ball bounce, leap, dodge, punt, strike.
