Preventing Domestic Violence during COVID 19

During the current pandemic, being at home may not be the safest place for some.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2016 it is estimated that two in every five Australians have been victim to physical or emotional abuse. Knowing this alarming statistic, Cardinia Leisure and Cardinia Shire Council’s Together We Can initiative are committed to building a community where everyone lives in safety, free from all forms of abuse encouraging the Cardinia Shire community to stand up, speak out and stop domestic violence.
