Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre (PRTC) opened in 2009. The facility was built by Cardinia Shire Council after the Council had established need for a Regional Tennis Centre in Cardinia. The facility has 18 lit plexicushion tennis courts, a multi-purpose function room, café, bar, change rooms, as well as accessible access and accessible bathrooms.
Our goal is to service the needs of the local community and to attract elite players from outside the municipality to train and compete in Cardinia.
To this day the PRTC hosts a wide range of activities to suit players of all needs including but not limited to; Kids Tennis Hot Shots, Youth and Adult coaching, court hire, internal and inter club/centre competition, special needs programs, school programs, and Australian Raking Tournaments.
Aligned Leisure manages the facility along several other leisure facilities in Cardinia on behalf of Cardinia Shire Council. Aligned Leisure in partnership with Council took over management in July 2016. Aligned Leisure’s purpose is to “Connect to Thrive and Win”
