Doxi has recently joined us as our Head of Fitness and Programs. Doxi comes with years of experience in the health and wellness industry and we are very excited to see the impact she can have here in Cardinia. Join us in welcoming Doxi to our team and learn some more about her below!
Head of Fitness and Programs
I grew up coaching, playing and refereeing basketball. My passion for sport led me to a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. I progressed into high performance sport and worked as a Sport Scientist at the Victorian Institute of Sport. In this role I had the opportunity to work alongside talented athletes and coaches including Olympians, World Champions and Paralympians.
From here I moved into aquatics and recreation, and for the past 6 years I have enjoyed making a difference to the lives of everyday heroes. My background is in Personal Training, where I support people to transform their lives for the better! Moving forward I hope to make my contribution to Cardinia Life recognised through programs that will increase the health and wellbeing of our community.
FAVOURITE GROUP FITNESS CLASS:
Bodybalance – I really enjoy the combination of Yoga with Tai Chi. I always feel calm with a wonderful sense of wellbeing afterwards!
FAVOURITE EXERCISE IN THE GYM:
Deadlifts! It’s such a key component to building overall body strength. Everyone should be doing them.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU:
Anyone who challenges themselves to be better; take that step and work outside your comfort zone. I think that applies to all aspects of our lives.
SOMETHING PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU:
I have been to the European Training Centre in Varese, Italy as a member of the support staff for National teams. It’s a pretty awesome environment and I have such respect for the level of discipline displayed by athletes, and the sacrifices from their families.

INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF CARDINIA LIFE:
Camping, fishing and tickle fights with my kids.
