As part of our members experience and Healthy Cardinia program, Aligned Leisure held their second Nutrition seminar for the calendar year last Tuesday evening.
The session was presented by Healthy Core and facilitated by Stacey Deayton . The 1-hour seminar was free to members and was well received by everyone in attendance .
The content of the meeting was primarily focused on diets and myths surrounding them, plus types of eating habits that result from diets and how they impact on everyday living.
It also covered facts on what transforms from being on a diet, and what results from rapid weight loss. In addition, Stacey touched on the inverse of a diet, such as someone who wants weight gain but struggles to achieve their goals .
The evening was well worth the time spent and I would recommend more members take the opportunity to come along and have a listen next time , date TBC .
